He is survived by: his children, Stella Helton of Madera, Ella Topping of Madera, Toni Helton Kenney of Orland, Gary Lee Helton Jr. of Orland and Susan Rowland of Midland; his siblings, Thomas Lynn Helton of Oklahoma and Paula Kay Lovett of Modesto; and his grandchildren, David Helton, Jackie Clark, Michelle Clark and Rosanne Gutierrez.
