She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Saturnino Ayala and Octavianna Peña Ayala; her brothers, Juan Ayala and Chava Ayala; her children, Patti Bova, Richard Miramontes and Vance Miramontes; and her grandchildren, Carleena Gordon, Vance Miramontes Jr., Julio Miramontes, Stephanie Bova and Ashley Bova. She was also cherished by four great-grandchildren.
