He was predeceased by: his parents, James Pruett and Alice Pruett; his siblings, Darrell Pruett, Jerry, Wayne, Jewel Rainwater and Pearl Burns; and his former wife JoAnn Huarte Pruett.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Pruett; his daughters, Debra Ann Caliel (Michael John Caliel) of The Woodlands, Dawn Lynette Shelstead of San Marcos, TX and Jane Michelle Baraldi of Fresno; his sibling Artie Godfrey of Placerville, CA.; his grandchildren, Jocelyn Caliel, Julie Marks (Michael), Elizabeth Caliel, Adam Shelstead (Ashton), Kaitlin Shelstead and Emma Bryant; and his great grandchildren, James Marks and Madeline Marks. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
