He was predeceased by: his parent Dos Palos; his wife Lela Mae Cook; his son Gary Burkhart; his grandson Ronald Daggs Jr.; and his son-in-law Ron Daggs.
He is survived by: his children, Ross Burkhart (Mary) of Firebaugh and Donna Daggs of Kerman; his grandchildren, Shane Burkhart (Becki) of Fresno and Andrea Daggs of San Diego; and his great grandchildren, Abigail Burkhart and Spencer Burkhart.
