He was predeceased by: his wife Rosie; and his siblings, Rita Sambueso (Gus), Ann Creech (Chuck), Lee Kohler (Robert), Madeline Medellin (Martin), Carrie Phillips (Olin), Theresa "Teddy" Herrera (Peter) and George Valdivia.
He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Valdivia-Pitcock (Jeff), Janet Spangler (Dale) and David Q. Valdivia (Shannon); his grandchildren, Anna, Xia, Rique, Blake (Chris) and Katelyn (Clay); his great grandchild Evelyn; and his brother James "Jimmy" Valdivia (Adeline). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends.
