She was predeceased by: her parents, Toribio Espericueta and Concepcion Cardenas Espericueta; her husband Benigno Valdez; her daughters, Rosalva Valdez and Gloria Valdez; and her siblings, Lupe Espericueta, Abel Espericueta, Petra Martinez, Carmen Arispe, Amelia Alba, Robles Uribe and Juanita Espericueta.
She is survived by: her children, Benigno Valdez Jr., Jorge Valdez, Javier Valdez, Concepcion Gonzalez of Madera, Irma Cantu of Madera, Elida Cantu of Madera, Delma Valdez-Magdaleno of Madera, Marie Vargas of Madera, Noelia Ochoa of Raymondville, Grace Perez of Roseville, CA, Myra Vasquez of Fresno and Nerida Luevano of Exeter, CA.. She is also survived by 37 grandchildren and 61 great grandchildren.
