She was predeceased by: her former husband Leon Smith; and her husband Fred Breitwieser. She is survived by: her children, Michael Smith (Stephanie) and Charlotte Riddle (Boyd); her grandchildren, Steven Smith (Alma), Jared Smith (Ashley), Susan Zaragosa (Frankie) and Jeffrey Riddle; her great grandchildren, Julian, Abigail, Mia, Landon and JJ; her sister-in-law Loma Breitwieser; and also, Stone and Peevey. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Madera Baptist Church Building Fund in memory of Betty Smith Breitwieser.
