She was predeceased by: her parents, Ramón Ruiz and Agustina Ruiz; and her sister Beatríz Ruiz. She is survived by: her children, Norma Bernál, Sally Muñoz (Leonard, Armida Roberts), Sandra Morin, Liz Gómez (Rick, Eva Chávez) and Adam Lárez (Lorena). She is also survived by her four sisters, one brother, 14 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
