He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cottier and Juanita Cottier; and his brothers, William and Edward Cottier. He is survived by: his wife Clarisse; and his children, Lynn, John (Linda) and James (Teresa). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, and seventeen great-grandchildren.
