He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Gossett and Diantha Gossett. He is survived by: his wife Paula Morton; his son John; his daughter-in-law Julie; his grandson Theo; his son Michael; his daughter-in-law Christine; his grandchildren, Hunter, Grace and Quinn; his sister Julianne Knapp; his nieces and nephews, Gerry and Brian; and his daughter Alexandra (Clinton Pullen).
His involvement with the Spartan Foundation solidified multiple athletic scholarships and helped raise substantial funds to support the SJSU athletic program.
