She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Ahlforth and Kathleen Ahlforth; her brother Roger Ahlforth; and her husband Charles Steele Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Chris Meagher (Maureen), Kate Gray (Gary), Laura Meagher, Paul Meagher (Beverly), Tim Meagher (Kathy) and Peter Meagher; and her stepchildren, Charles Steele III, David Steele (Marybeth) and Alexandra Shepherd (Peter).

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Darling & Fischer Chapel of the Hills (615 N Santa Cruz Ave, Los Gatos, CA 95030).

In lieu of flowers, donations are requested in her memory to Second Harvest of Silicon Valley, 750 Curtner Avenue, San Jose, CA 95125.
