She is survived by: her husband Ramon Benavides Mejia; her daughters, Amalia Figueroa and Juanita Cavesuela; her mijo David Mejia; and her children, Ramon Mejia Jr., Gustavo "Gus" Mejia and Virginia "Vicky" Mejia. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
