She was predeceased by: her parents, John Freitas and Virginia Freitas; her husband James Mazzone; and her brother John Freitas. She is survived by: her children, Manuel Areia (Debbie), Ginger Collins (Bill) and David Areia (Tami); and her grandchildren, Ashley Areia, Manuel Areia, Allyssa Boyer, Chris Collins, Casey Mattos, Jade Areia, Drew Areia and Laken Areia. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
