He was predeceased by : his parents, Johnny Forte and Mabel Forte; his brother Joseph Forte; and his nephew Anthony Forte. He is survived by : his daughter La Verne Cheverette; his spouse La Verne Forte; his brother Gene Forte (Eileen) of Modesto; his children, David Forte (Leah) of Hanford, Raymond Forte (Debbie) of Merced, Dan Forte (Sandra) of Los Banos and Yvette Rosedale (Philip) of San Francisco; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Forte of Visalia, Kristen Perkins (Chris), Amanda Mercer (Anthony) of Hanford, Christopher Forte of Los Banos, Cody Forte (Veronica) of Dos Palos, Daniel Forte (Kara) of Bloomfield, Marc Forte of Los Banos, August, Cecilia, Orion and Capri Rosedale of San Francisco; and his great grandchildren, Olivia Forte, Aidan Wright, Rosemary, Georgia Perkins, Jackson, Jagger Mercer, Zoey, Xander, Mariana, Collin, Jude and Roman Forte.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or Alzheimer's Association.
