He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsie Pacheco and William Pacheco; his brothers, Bill, Alfred, Richard and Ronald Pacheco; his son David Pacheco Jr.; his son-in-law Leo Azevedo; and his grandson Jayson Orabuena.

He is survived by: his wife Jean Pacheco; his children, Christine Valdez (Don), Barbara Azevedo and Edward Pacheco (Danielle); his grandchildren, Brenda Vargas (Ben), Aiden Pacheco, Finneas Pacheco, Lylith Pacheco, Julie Dolson (William), Dawn Carey (Joey) and Jennifer Sandoval; and his great grandchildren, Madilyn Vargas and John Valdez. He is also survived by many Nieces, Nephews, Brother and Sister In-Laws.

He devoted much of his time throughout his life to charity, helping both youth and elderly within his community.
