With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Van Xu Ly (Los Angeles, California), who passed away on September 21, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Van Xu may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Van Xu touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Van; his daughter Kristen; his grandchildren, Madison and Mckenzie; and his son-in-law Peter.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Oswald Mortuary (18728 Parthenia St, Northridge, CA 91324). A burial will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Oakwood Memorial Park (22601 Lassen St, Chatsworth, CA 91311).
