It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Takeyuki Miyauchi of Los Angeles, California, who passed away on March 7, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Takeyuki has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He is survived by: his wife Kazuko; his daughters, Margaret Miyauchi-Leong (Henry Leong), Joyce Valenzuela (Peter) and Lily Pfeiffer (Gary); and his grandchildren, Stephanie Moane (Damien), Matthew Chung (Ann), Stephen Valenzuela (Althea), Christopher Valenzuela (Sarah), Sara Valenzuela, Michael Valenzuela (Meyalli) and Rachel.
A funeral service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the L. A. Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple (815 1st St, Los Angeles, CA 90012).
