Sonya Fern Rudy Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sonya Fern Rudy of Los Angeles, California, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 15, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Sonya Fern farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Sonya Fern is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was predeceased by: her husband Milton Rudy; her brothers, Allen Furfine (late Lee) and Charles "Chuck" Furfine (Carolyn); and her sister-in-law Frances "Frankie" Siegel. She is survived by: her children, Harvey Rudy (Sharon) of Atlanta, Deborah "Debbie" Vo (Thanh) of Ellicott City, MD and Michael Rudy of Los Angeles; and her grandchildren, Lauren Rudy, Olivia Vo (Matt) and Emma Vo (Julio).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Central Institute for the Deaf (cid.edu) -St. Louis.
