It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley C. Munch (Los Angeles, California), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on August 13, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Shirley may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur Munch. She is survived by: her son Craig Singer (Kate Rosloff); her granddaughter Arielle Singer; and her siblings, Abe Cannon and Anna Himelhoch. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Shirley has asked that donations may tribute these charities: Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem; SOFA (Save Our Forest Association, a non-profit environmental group Shirley was the founding president of 40+ years ago at Lake Arrowhead); or, Planned Parenthood.
