She was predeceased by: her husband Carl. She is survived by: her daughter Susan Kono; her sister Annie May Umeta; her nieces and nephews, Karen Imai (Kenny), Julie Shimohata (Michio), Toshi Nakamura (Beth), Kenny Kono and Bob Shinmori (Chris); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Eric Shimohata, Brian Shimohata (Sasha), Aileen Ruebensaal (Tyler), Cindy Hioki (Shoki) and Shelley Kono; and also, Emi Ruebensaal and Mia Hioki. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
