He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Karl and Shirley Jean Hultgren; and his brother Tommy. He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, Brian (Catherine Lewis) and Margaret Stewart (Tyler); his grandchildren, Charlotte, Henry, Graham, Magnolia, Banks and Mills; and his siblings, Jo Anne, Susan Reyes (Jesse) and Mike (Cheryl). He is also survived by nephews and nieces.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Park & Funeral Home (1701 Austin Hwy, San Antonio, TX 78218).
