She was predeceased by: her husband Alfred Masaru "Mach" Takeda. She is survived by: her children, Willie Takeda, Aileen Zeidman (Scott), Jeff Takeda (Christine) and Wayne Takeda (Daniela); her grandchildren, Trace, Derek Takeda, Jason, Brandon Zeidman, Jennifer, Sara, Keri Takeda, Matias, Cameron and Jordan Takeda; her siblings, Yasutoshi Tanaka, Hiroko Fujihira and Masako Tsukada; and her siblings-in-law, Lorraine Watanabe (Kazuo) and Tom Kiyoshi Takeda of Gardena, CA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Venice Hongwanji Buddhist Temple (12371 Braddock Dr, Culver City, CA 90230).
