He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurey Niems and Mary Niems; and his brothers, Stuart and Kenneth (late Gayle Chavkin-Niems). He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Niems, Joel Niems, Jill and Brian Curry; and his grandchildren, Isaac, Joseph, Sekar, Jacob Niems and Dylan Curry.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation be made in his name to either Jewish Federation Los Angeles or to PMG Awareness.
