He was predeceased by: his brother Donald William Schaidt. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his daughters, Kathy Lister (Rodney) of Cedar City, UT, Sandee Walker (Jay) of Milford, UT, June Aldous of Denver, CO and Joan Owen of Holladay, UT; and his sisters, Estelle Acord and Darlene Ball. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
