It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eufemio John Cucci in Los Angeles, California, who passed away on February 23, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Eufemio John may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his wife Martha Claire McCarthy. He is survived by: his sons, John T. Cucci and Timothy E. Cucci; his daughter-in-law Claudette Cucci; his grandsons, Jack and Joe Cucci; and his sister-in-law Joan Hier.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Parish Cemetery of Ticonderoga (195 Alexandria Ave, Ticonderoga, NY 12883). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 4th 2025.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Croton Free Library, reflecting John's lifelong love of literature and community engagement.
