“I am so sorry to learn of the passing of Mary El. She was such a sweet lady, and she and Jerry were so good to my parents Ron and Arlene Birch. Arlene Birch's father Roy Palmer went to school with Jerry's dad, so when Arlene moved to California she looked up the Swanson family in 1949 and were friends ever since.
