He is survived by: his sister Amy Kawahara; his nieces and nephews, Julie Kawahara, Jean Kawahara (Carmelo Caisip), Lisa Fujita (Dale Binkley), Gregg Fujita (Michelle) and Neal Fujita (Tammy); his great-nephews, Daniel Binkley, Ben Fujita, Danilo Caisip and Max Fujita; and his great-niece Maya Fujita.
