As Valencia departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Valencia may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Valencia leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her father Will Henry Grimes, Jr.; and her aunt Thelma Louise Driver. She is survived by: her mother Juanita P. Nash; her siblings, Will Henry Grimes III (Carolyn), Paul D. Grimes (Quin), Ashton Grimes (Nyeisha), Samantha Nash and Tiffany Nash; her sister-in-law Carrie De Coud; and her godchildren, Chene (Martin), Jaime and Steven. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, church family, and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Gospel Memorial (1480 Atlantic Ave, Long Beach, CA 90813).
