“Sometimes I tell my students about Dr. Kroman who I had for Genetics and Evolution. How he used to pace as he lectured and how he used to assign project topics randomly by having us draw chits from a hat. I believe he said he was part of the meeting that developed the Drake Equation. Once I went with him to a seminar at USC or UCLA about The Creative Nature of Evolution. I am glad to see that he lived many years past the early 90s when I was his student. He was a great teacher! R.I.P.”
