She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Cotton and Clara Cotton; her husband Melvin Brookshire; and her son Robert Wayne. She is survived by: her children, Loreen Clyde of Cushing, OK, Curtis Brookshire (Dave Daniels) of Silver Spring, Maryland, Marvin Brookshire of Akron, Ohio and Rick Brookshire of Vinita, OK; her grandchildren, Mark, Isabel, David, Jonathan, Melissa, Richelle and Chelsea; and her great grandchildren, Tristan, Isabella, Lydia, Liam, Elix, Mason, Declan, Indra and Arleigh.
The family gratefully accepts flower donations addressed to Matherly-Davis Funeral Home, 402 E. Broadway St., Cushing, OK; additionally, donations to Nazarene Compassionate Ministries are welcomed.
