She was loved and cherished by many people including: her son Darrell James Brown, Jr.; her daughter-in-law Karen Michele Brown; her stepchildren, Robert Lee Keith, Becky Keith-Teasdale and Cheryl Keith-Peele; her grandchildren, Cory James Brown and Carissa Joy Brown; her stepgranddaughters, Kaylin Alexandria Hawkins and Summer Briett Hawkins; her parents, Hillis Allison Cash, Sr. and Angeline Ruby Cash; her siblings, Hillis Allison Cash, Jr (Butch) and Laurelee Cash-Troy; and also Dennis.

She was patriotic and was a supporter of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) by making donations to them.
