It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lan Mahon (Long Beach, California), who passed away on October 25, 2019, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her parents, Chiem Cong Ta and Han Thi Nguyen; her husband Thomas McSwain Mahon Jr.; her daughter Sophia Lan; and her siblings, Viet Quoc Ta, Binh Cong Ta, Jeannie Yen Tran, Vinh Quoc Ta, Linh Thi Thy Ta, Dzan Quoc Ta, Minh Cong Ta and Trang Thuc Ta. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, cousins, friends.

The family has requested in lieu of flowers for donations to be made in her honor to the following charities: Doctors Without Borders Samaritan's Purse and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Foundation.
