She was predeceased by: her parents, Yasutaro Yota and Fuku Yota; and her husband Kiyoshi. She is survived by: her daughters, Keiko Fansler (Harmon) and Mayumi Kotani (Akinori); her grandchildren, Karen Hayashi, Norika Haberman (Joseph) and Makoto Kotani (Kerilyn); and her great grandchildren, Kio, Emma and Mika. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
