She was predeceased by: her mother Mary; her husband Eugene Mansor Portner; and her sons, Christopher Gene Portner and John Joseph Portner. She is survived by: her children, Mike Portner, Paul Portner (Jeanette), Mark Portner, Mary Portner, Jeanne Keeler (Fred), Katy Portner, David Portner (Mary), Jim Portner (Sherry) and Jeff Portner (Michele); and her daughter-in-law Carolyn (Chris Portner). She is also survived by children, 37 grandchildren—her 60-plus great grandchildren—her nieces, nephews, friends.
She made connections with pastors and priests that lasted for decades—including correspondence and generous donations for their work around the world.
