He was predeceased by: his parents, John Latta and Reva Latta (Atkinson); his brother Ernest Latta; his sister-in-law Dorothy Latta; his sister Joyce Latta Hamilton; his parents-in-law, Jennings and Bessie Garrett; his sister-in-law Mildred Garrett; his brother Charles; and his sister-in-law Laura Garrett.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Latta; his sons, J. B. Latta (Connie) of Fargo, Rod Latta (Teresa) of Fort Supply and Kent Latta (Lynda) of Gage; his grandchildren, Rex Latta (Delicia) of Fargo, Kyla Smith (Stephen) of Hinton, Sara Peck (Trent) of Hunter, Latisha Dunham (Tra) of Fort Supply, Colt Latta (Natalie) of May, Tabitha McCartor (J. B.) of Arnett, Tyler Latta (Beth) of Edmond, Riley Latta (Joni) of Arnett and Shelby Aranda (Rigo) of Buffalo; and his siblings, Pat Highfill of Woodward and Johnny Latta (Rella) of Fargo. He is also survived by 26 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, and nephews, as well as many friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Fort Supply FFA Chapter with the funeral home accepting the contributions.
