It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Amparo Escamilla (Long Beach, California), who passed away on April 28, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Arturo Escamilla; her son Adrian Escamilla; and her parents, Sotero Hurtado and Francis Flores. She is survived by: her children, Arthur Escamilla (Anita), Jose Escamilla (Ramona), Armando Escamilla, Rosio (Ernie Rivero), Dolores (Miguel Aguayo), Amparo (Jesus Olmos), Maria Laudon, Roselia (Antonio Rangel), Cristina (Vicente Cardenas) and Jesus Escamilla. She is also survived by 30 loving grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren; brothers, sisters and many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.

VISITATION: Due to COVID restrictions, the visitation is PRIVATE for the immediate family ONLY on Thursday, May 20, 2021.
