It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Veda Battison of Lompoc, California, born in Duncan, Oklahoma, who passed away on July 19, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Davis and Joy Davis; her husband William Battison; and her son Patrick Battison. She is survived by: her siblings, Carlos Davis, Gwen Van Zant and Darwin Davis; her daughters, Shawn Elaine Johnson and Brenda Battison-Smith (Greg); her grandchildren, Kassie Gladden (Freddy Cruz), Alec Rodriguez, Kyle Smith, Brittney Smith (Josh Bailey) and Megan Smith; and her great grandchildren, Josiah, Cienna, Gabriel, Abigail, Olivia, Juniper and Conner.
