She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Thompson and Amanda Thompson; her husband Alvin L. Gilmore, Sr.; her siblings, Charles Jr. and Louise May Humphries of Texas; and her children, Jannette Gilmore and Clifford Gilmore.
She is survived by: her grandson Alvin Jr.; her great grandchild Deborah; her sisters, Mary Hamilton and Sandra Lowe of Texas; and her children, Annette Rogers, Deborah Gilmore and Alvin L. Gilmore, Jr.. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren, and fourteen great-great-grandchildren.
