Karen Joan Bouman Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Karen Joan Bouman of Lompoc, California, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 27, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Shoemaker and Marguerite "Pat" Shoemaker (Calder); her parents-in-law, Thomas and Pearl Bouman; and her brother-in-law Daniel Harrington.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Thomas Bouman "Bo" of Juliana's Catholic Church; her daughters, Cheryl Zablow (Rob), Sandy Bouman and Carol Bouman; her grandchildren, Jordan Schneider, Madison Sokolski, Connor Zablow, Zach Schneider, Jesse Munoz, Adriana Gonzales-Bouman and Rudy Munoz; her great grandchildren, Thomas Sokolski and Cypress Falba-Munoz; and her siblings, Patricia Harrington, Jeanne Gates (Morrie) and Charlie Shoemaker (Patricia). She is also survived by four nieces and a nephew.
Viewing will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Starbuck-Lind Mortuary (123 N A St, Lompoc, CA 93436). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Lompoc Church of Christ (138 N B St, Lompoc, CA 93436).
