With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Vincent Joseph Sweeney in Loma Linda, California, born in Laramie, Wyoming, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 23, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, David Joseph Sweeney and Katherine Hughes; and his parents, Sylvester Sweeney and Theresa Sweeney. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen; his daughter Alison (Dustin Rico); his grandchildren, Ava, Jake, Daisy and Lilly; and his siblings, Mary Sweeney, James Sweeney, Patricia Abbasi, Frances Glodt, Margaret Hall, Theresa Sawyer and John Sweeney.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Murrieta Valley Funeral Home (24651 Washington Ave, Murrieta, CA 92562). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at the Murrieta Valley Cemetery.
