He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Desens and Louise Desens (Witt); his children, Marian Nielson (Gary) of Florida, James Desens (Marie) of Grand Chute, Katie Hoersch (Robert) of Grand Chute, Vicki Scharschmidt (Rich), Green Lake, Jean Heling (Mark) and Grand Chute; and his wife Harriet. He was also cherished by 17 grandchildren; 46 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren; a sister-in-law.
