She was predeceased by: her husband Mas; her daughter Phyllis Midori Bruns; and her siblings, Bill, Bob, Ted, Richard and Janet Takahashi.
She is survived by: her spouse Masaaki Nagata; her children, Fred (Joyce), Philip, Roy (Cheryl) and Judy Watanabe; and her brother Eddie Nakayama (Setsuko). She is also survived by 3 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren and her constant companion.
