She was predeceased by: her stepfather Ed Avila. She is survived by: her children, Robert, Benjamin, Page, Douglas, Kelly, Aimee, Jonathan and Kelsey; her grandchildren, Bradley, Michael, Jeweliana, Luke, Sophia and Calvin; and her brother Benjamin Burgess Jr..
