He is survived by: his wife Dolores Spanos; his son Nickolas Spanos III; his grandchildren, Nickolas Spanos IV and Persephone Spanos; and his brother George Spanos of Salmon, Idaho..

Nickolas was the president of Lodi Lions Club, Member of NRA, Ducks Unlimited, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Quails Unlimited, Lodi District Grape Growers Association, and attended St. Basil's Greek Orthodox Church in Stockton.
