She was predeceased by: her parents, John Carranza and Gloria Carranza; her brother Marty Carranza; and her children, Melissa Ruiz and Joey Gomez.
She is survived by: her significant other Joe Gomez Sr.; her children, Tony Rivera and Vanessa Gomez; her grandchildren, Tony, Anicia, Jaclyn, Sirena, Raymond, Richard, Sammy, Isaac, Joseph and Nevaeh; her siblings, Marla, Marquita and Mark; and her close friends, Yvonne Vallejo, Alice Aguila and Bertha Ramos. She is also survived by her many great-grandchildren.
