He is survived by: his wife Bonnie; his brother Alvin Schmierer; his children, Bill, Larry Schmierer and Veronica Kuest; and his children-in-law, Janis Peters and David Kuest. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 4 great- great- grandchildren.
