She was predeceased by: her parents, John Edmerson and Martha Edmerson; her husband Amos Saffold, Sr.; and her grandson Rodney Shaw. She is survived by: her children, Jeanette Hale, Sharon Saffold, Karen Blount (Darrel), Valencia Saffold and Amos Saffold, Jr.; her grandchildren, Edwin Lee Chondra Shaw (Antionette), Megan Matthews (Micah), Amos Saffold, III, Marcus Hale, Dion Hale (Olivia), Lindsey Sherman (Lawrence) and Evan Clayton (LaRon); and her half-brother Cliff Fanning. She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren, 8 sisters-in-love and 4 brothers-in-love, numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, church families, and friends.
