He is survived by: his children, Lydia Holguin (Randy Holguin), Cynthia Chavez, Laura Zurita (Conrad Zurita), Phillip Chavez, John Chavez, Stephanie Mora (Paul Mora) and Jennifer Chavez; his grandchildren, Melissa Garrido, Christina Schaffer, Celestina Chavez, Dominic Flores, Felipe Chavez, Devina Chavez, Johnathon Rico, Randi Paige Holguin, Anthony Zurita and Karina Castillo; his great grandchildren, Nathalia, Joscy, Brooky, Skylar and Zelah Elizabeth; and his siblings, Fernando Chavez and Concepcion Lopez. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
