He is survived by: his wife Arlene; his children, Christine Dorzweiler, Daniel Van Handel (Shelby), Thomas Van Handel (Jennifer) and Kevin Van Handel (Jill); his grandchildren, Jennifer, Sarah, Ian, Adam, Kelly, Alex and Jake; his siblings, Merrill Van Handel (Marian), Richard Van Handel, Ivol Van Handel (Myrt), Donald Van Handel (Marge), Lorrie Duchateau and Joyce Williamson; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Van Handel.
