He is survived by: his spouse Theresa Burmeister; his children, Russell Boers, Wayne Boers and Denise Hoffman (Mike); and his grandchildren, Rhonda Van Ooyen (Charles), Cresta Buss (Dave), Jessica Boers, Sarah Boers, Kyle Boers (Alyssa) and Leia Boers.
